Back to school is right around the corner (HALLELUJAH) and I’m stocking up on some kid-approved outfits for fall. As Liv gets older it’s becoming harder for us to agree on fashion choices. Lately, we’ve been compromising when it comes to outfit selections and I’ve had to wave the white flag a few times. My friend Erin, a local Lularoe consultant, has a great selection of Lularoe kids leggings and Gracie tops so I snagged an outfit for Liv. Here’s this week’s What Liv Wore featuring Lularoe.
Comfort is a key factor when it comes to kids clothes. Let’s face it, kids are PICKY. If Liv’s wearing something with an annoying tag, itchy material, or uncomfortable fit I’ll know about. Lularoe has revolutionized the legging market with their unique prints and buttery soft composition. I love how they’d created pint-sized pairs, perfect for mama/mini matching. I picked a pair of mint leggings with a gorgeous flower print for Liv. She’s tall for her age but comfortably fits into a size S/M.
The Gracie top is the kiddo version of the Irma top. This pinkish-purple one caught my eye and I knew Liv would love it. For sizing reference, Liv wears a size 4 in this style. I let her pick out some Poppy Lane and Co. bracelets and a pair of ankle boots. I added a denim vest and Livie Loo’s bow to complete the look.
We’ve had this outfit for a few weeks now and Liv’s already worn it twice. I know we’ll be stocking up on some more leggings for fall and figuring out a few ways to layer jackets and sweaters over this Gracie top. This is the same top Liv wore with her Taylor Joelle Designs suspender skirt in this post.
As for the most important factor when it comes to kids clothes, I’ve washed these pieces twice already and they hold up wonderfully. Liv spilled iced tea down the front of her top and I cringed when I saw the aftermath. I used a little oxyclean and threw it in a cold wash cycle. Don’t forget to hang-dry your LLR pieces!
As always, Make sure you follow Erin on Instagram and Twitter, subscribe to her YouTube channel and Periscope, like her Facebook page, and join her Facebook group. Erin will be having a sale tonight! You don’t want to miss out on her new selection of Joy’s and Carly’s. I know I’ll be buying some!
